NBA Comparison: Notes on Michael Bradley
After spending his first two college seasons at Kentucky, even winning a national championship in 1998, Michael Bradley transferred to Villanova in the summer of 1999 and sat out the 1999-2000 season. In 2000-2001, he shined, scoring 20.8 points and snaring 9.8 boards a contest, being named to the All-Big East conference first team. He led the nation in field goal percentage by hitting a whopping 69.2% of his shots. Not only is that the Villanova school record for field goal accuracy, but he also holds the record at Kentucky where he hit 65.7% of his shots in 1998-99. He scored 20 or more points on 22 occasions, and finished with double figures in points and rebounds in the same game 14 times.

"He can hit from the baseline and the wing. When he releases it, you just think the ball's going in," said St. Joseph's coach Phil Martelli.

Strengths of Michael Bradley
Excellent scorer and rebounder and shows a very good court awareness. Terrific shooter for a big man. Very nice hands and a deft passer. Makes good, quick decisions in the post. Strong work ethic.
Weaknesses of Michael Bradley
Awful free throw shooter... shot 58% from the charity stripe and defenses took advantage of the weakness. Some pro scouts question whether he is aggressive enough.
Bradley on the Rockets?
Bradley's high percentage shooting and rebounding skills would fit in well on a Rudy T squad that is desperate for size in the paint, but the need for a small forward could take precedence if Bradley is still on the board for the Rockets' first pick.
