Living Up To The Hype
Yao rejected Shaq on his first three shots and scored 6 quick points, but cooled considerably before his late slam
Steve Francis picked a good time to go for a career night.

Francis hit a three-pointer to tie the game in regulation and dished the game-winning assist to Yao Ming for a slam with 10.2 seconds left in overtime as the Rockets stunned Shaquille O'Neal and the Lakers 108-104 Friday night.

As for Yao-Shaq, don't let the box score fool you.

Yao's defense on Shaq tonight was phenomenal, despite 31 from the Lakers big man. Yao (5-14 from the floor, 10 points, 10 boards) had 6 blocks -- 4 of which came on Shaq -- and until overtime, when Shaq had two slams over the Chinese Sensation, Yao kept his center counterpart from getting good position close to the hoop.

An absolutely huge win for the Rockets.
