According to a local radio report, the Rockets waived guard Tierre Brown today, which could mean Tito Maddox will make the squad.
It's another surprise after the Rockets waived Oscar Torres last week. Tierre averaged just over 3 points and 1.75 assists a game in roughly 10 minutes of action in 2001-2002, manning the third point guard spot behind Steve Francis and Moochie Norris.
Maddox, Juaquin Hawkins and Pete Mickeal are all still around despite the Rockets' roster being trimmed down to 15. With Terence Morris starting the season on the IL from a severely sprained ankle, one of the previous three will start the season on the active roster.
