The Rockets got their starting two-guard back Saturday as Cuttino Mobley was taken off the Injured Reserve and activated for tonight's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Mobley in fact started the contest.
He takes the place of Tito Maddox, who went to the IR with plantar fasciaitis in his left foot. I think plantar fasciaitis has taken the lead for favorite Rocket injury, even beating out 1995's team case of anemia.
Cuttino was placed on the IR back on November 22 with ankle problems and missed 8 games, including a tough 5-game West Coast road swing.
The Rockets were 4-4 in his absence, with Yao Ming and Glen Rice most notably picking up the scoring load.
Mobley is averaging 17.5 points on 41.6% shooting this season.
