Maurice Taylor, who had his suspension cut to 6 games by the NBA, was activated by the Rockets on Wednesday.
He should see action tonight against Golden State and it couldn't come any sooner. The Rockets desperately need some punch at the four spot.
However, to make room for Taylor, someone had to go and the Rockets waived Alton Ford Wednesday. Ford was signed by the team just 10 days ago
"I like him," Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy told the Houston Chronicle. "He had great spirit. He learned quickly. He has a good, strong body. He's got some things we need, but we just can't fit him in right now. It's too bad."
