Adrian Griffin has finally been placed on the Rockets active list.
The Rockets activated the 6-foot-5 swingman on Wednesday, making room on the roster by placing backup point guard Mike Wilks on the injured list with right foot plantar fasciitis, also known as "absolutely nothing".
Griffin, who signed a two-year deal with the Rockets in early August, has not played a single game with Houston after having to undergo right knee surgery in early September.
If healthy, he could be a good defensive option for Van Gundy. Griffin averaged over a steal a game last season in Dallas, despite playing just 18+ minutes a night. Rest assured however, Griffin will have to work his way in to Van Gundy's rotation.
