Calvin is off the hook.
The "Pocket Rocket", Calvin Murphy, was cleared Monday of all charges brought against him.
The former Rocket was facing multiple charges of sexual assault with a child and indecency with a child, based on accusations made by five of his daughters.
"I want to start the healing process," said Murphy. "Let's not forget that my family is in turmoil right now. There are girls out there that I would hope one day that we can sit down and look each other in the eye and reconcile."
Calvin not only had a great career with the Rockets (nearly 18,000 points over 13 seasons), but was a wacky, well-liked TV personality for Rockets broadcasts, pairing with play-by-play man Bill Worrell. He lost his job this past offseason over this fiasco.
Will he return to the booth alongside Worrell?
Before the actual verdict came in, Rockets sources said a return wasn't likely regardless of the outcome. But with early FSN TV ratings coming back as terrible so far for the Rockets (which no doubt has more to do with Jeff Van Gundy's squad coughing up total scores in the 70's), anything is possible. Time certainly has a way of changing public perception.

Shortly after posting this report, the Rockets released an official statement regarding Calvin.
"The entire Rockets organization is very happy for Calvin," said Rockets Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Broadcasting Tad Brown. "Calvin maintained his innocence from Day One and we are pleased to see that the jury agreed. In regards to his situation with the team, we had a conversation with Calvin prior to this season detailing the need to secure Van Chancellor as analyst for this season. We remain committed to re-evaluating his situation at the end of the season regarding his future with the organization and that of the broadcast team."
