The Rockets are exploring options to trade guard Derek Anderson, it was learned Friday.
Sports Radio 610 reported it was a "mutual decision" after the player met with Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy.
Van Gundy was not particularly kind to D.A. after practice on Friday.
"He was brought in here to help a good team make a move up, and we certainly aren't in the same position as we were at the start of the year," said Van Gundy. "He's missed 29 straight games and has not really been on the practice floor. We both came to the conclusion that it would be best if we tried to find another team for him."
Reading between the lines, it's crystal clear that the Rocket coach is not happy with the toughness nor desire of D.A., and likewise Anderson probably isn't too thrilled with his coach.
