Bonzi Wells, where are you?
The Rockets got some more bad news on Monday when Kirk Snyder broke his right hand on a drive in the second quarter of the Rockets-Knicks game in New York.
Snyder immediately grabbed his right hand in pain, but still had to shoot both free throws. Both attempts were airballs -- in fact, they were both about 5-6 feet short -- as Snyder immediately left the court afterwards with team trainer Keith Jones.
Word came down later that his hand was broken. According to Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy after the game, Snyder is expected out 10-12 weeks.
Van Gundy may have to soften his stance on Bonzi, or he will be running small lineups. In New York, he finally started using Vassilis Spanoulis, who made a great defensive play late in the fourth in taking a charge against Stephon Marbury.
