It's nice to have the Vegas Summer League kicking in, but the Rockets organization hasn't done much of anything during this free agency period to get their fans talking.

So while we wait for "the trade" from new GM Daryl Morey, I was cruising the hard drive for some older Rockets stuff.

I could never feasibly post this video before given the size, but a lot has changed since then. This video was produced by the Houston Rockets for the 2003 Tux & Tennies Charity Gala and is narrated by Rockets radio voice legend Gene Peterson. At over 14 minutes long it does a great job running through the history of the Houston Rockets.

Keep in mind that this was 2003, so Rudy Tomjanovich was the coach, the Toyota Center was still under construction and Tracy McGrady was living comfortably in Orlando.

There are some slower moments, like the PR stuff for Rockets owner Les Alexander and the final minute that touts the likes of Moochie Norris and Maurice Taylor being on the current roster, but there are some real strong moments as well, such as the early years and the Twin Towers era.

I think any long-time Rockets fan is going to appreciate this piece.
