You may struggle to sort it all out as the Rockets were very busy tonight at the NBA Draft, striking a pair of deals that turned their 25th pick of the draft into two players.
After being unable to move up in the draft, Houston selected France's Nicolas Batum at no. 25, then followed that up by trading Batum to Portland for Kansas forward Darrell Arthur (no. 27 overall) and Memphis big man Joey Dorsey (no. 33 overall).
Houston then dealt Arthur to Memphis for the guy who went right after him, no. 28 overall pick Donte Greene, the 6-foot-9 forward out of Syracuse. The Rockets also netted Memphis' 2009 second round pick in the trade.
"That obviously is potentially a pretty good second, which should help us at this year's trade deadline," said Morey on the second rounder they picked up. "It gives us another chip to put in another deal, so that obviously was something we were interested in."
The big pieces though were Greene and Dorsey.

"We wanted to balance future players that could help the Rockets at two different positions -- the wing and the big," said Morey on the two players. "We felt like both were for us the best players on the board."
Greene is long, has very good athleticism and was a highly touted recruit at Syracuse, but he seemed to fall in love with his outside shot, shooting over 7 triples a night at just over 34% from long range. He averaged 17.7 points and 7.2 rebounds as a freshman at Syracuse.
Morey was high on Greene's potential.
"He is 6-9, legit size, athletic small forward who can slide over to the four spot [and] can shoot the ball," said Morey. "We think he's a great future bet. A lot of talent to get him where we got him at 28."
Dorsey measured out at 6-7 and weighed in at a ripped 260+ pounds. Morey liked his size and had high praise for his defensive skills.
"In our opinion, he's the best defensive big in the country," praised Morey. "He anchored the best defense in the country in Memphis and he was the player on that team that made the largest impact [defensively] through steals, through shotblocking, through his ability to guard nearly every position on the floor with his speed and athleticism."
"We feel good about his future as a big, his combination of athleticism and a big body that can move. He's a great finisher."
Morey said Dorsey needs work offensively, but that unlike Greene, he felt the Memphis big man was someone who can "make an impact right away".
