Rockets agree to terms with Barry
Rockets GM Daryl Morey's pillaging of the San Antonio Spurs continues.

It's not the big splash that fans wanted, but the Rockets did get their man Thursday night when Brent Barry informed the Rockets that he'll be coming to Houston.

We thought Barry was the perfect addition to the Rockets... four years ago. His career is a little long in the tooth (he'll be 37 in December), but he's a solid passer and can still stroke the long ball. Barry hit over 48% from the floor and 42.9% from downtown in 2007-08 and is a career 40.7% from beyond the arc in 13 years in the NBA.

You won't see much in the way of defense with Barry, but playing in the Luther Head role off the bench, he could do a lot of what his older brother Jon Barry did for the Rockets in Tracy McGrady's first season (2004-05).

In fact, it's sort of a family tradition for the Barrys to hit Clutch City at some point in their careers. Along with Jon, Barry's father, Rick Barry, has also had a stint with the Rockets.
