It's not the first time Carl Landry lost a tooth in an NBA game, but 3 sets a new personal record.

The Houston Rockets forward lost 3 teeth in a collision with Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki Friday night. Landry left the game and had to be taken to the emergency room.

The play happened with 9:28 left in the second quarter. Nowitzki drive down the middle of the lane and Landry stepped in to take a charge. A block was called instead, but Nowitzki's right elbow hit Landry's face flush.

According to the FSN studio, two of Landry's teeth were embedded in Nowitzki's arm. The Mavs forward shot his free throws left-handed and left to get stitches.

Landry lost a tooth from an elbow from Carlos Boozer in Game 3 of the 2008 first round playoff series against the Utah Jazz.
