This week's brand new Sports Illustrated magazine (March 5th edition - Nomar Garciaparra on the cover) includes a very cool article on ClutchCity.net on page 16.
SI writer John O'Keefe called the site "one of the more imaginative and thorough fan-operated sites on the Web" and also added it was "intelligently organized and information-packed".
O'Keefe talked about the high traffic and over 2600 bulletin board members who scoop stories, mentioning the Steve Francis trade scoop in 1999 (by mall-walker rocketsfan34 and popeye).
"[The site] is just for fun. We have real jobs," said Clutch. "Of course, if something really big happens, we'll be there."
Have to admit, this made me very proud -- I want to send out a very special thanks to SI writer John O'Keefe, who did a terrific job.
