According to the report, assistant coach Jim Boylen brought his dog to the airport today, and KT got too close for comfort. Apparently Thomas leaned in to Boylen's car to say goodbye to his family when the dog, a Boston terrier, bit him in the face.

It was more serious than intially thought: KT was taken to the hospital and required plastic surgery and the dog was put to sleep.
