The Charlotte Hornets have made an offer to Rocket free agent forward Matt Bullard, a source close to the team informed ClutchCity.net Thursday. The offer is the Hornets' $4.5 million exception, though it was uncertain if it was all or part of the exception. Bullard has made it clear he wants to remain home in Houston to play ball, but a deal for Glen Rice could change things. If the Rockets do pull the trigger on the Rice-Shandon Anderson swap with the Knicks, Bull may be the odd man out. Ex-Rocket Bryce Drew signed a deal with the Hornets earlier this offseason.
