The Rockets were in very high spirits today as they gathered at WestSide Tennis Club for Rockets Media Day. Both Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley were pumped and ready to go while interestingly the most pumped Rocket was probably Glen Rice, who was overheard saying he was stoked to be back playing with talent (a rip on the Knicks). The best news, however, was the buzz going around at Media Day that Maurice Taylor could be back playing after the All-Star break. Newest Rocket Damon Jones was there but had signed with the club just hours before, so the only jersey he had to wear was a #15 Emanual Davis jersey. Francis and Cuttino razzed Jones, shouting, "Yo, what's up Damon Davis!" Jason Collier looked noticeably bigger and said his knee is fine. He also said last year he was a rookie getting his feet wet -- this year he's going to be throwing his body and elbows around. The team headed out to Austin later in the evening and will start camp on Tuesday.
