From Sporting News Rocket Report -- One of the Rockets' first round picks (#18 overall) Mirsad Turkcan, the 6-9 forward from Turkey, has accepted the invitation to play for his national team and will return to Houston at the end of the month, even if it means nothing more than pickup games with his new best friend, Hakeem Olajuwon. "I have been contacted (about playing professionally)," Turkcan said. "My old team (Efes Pilsen) called. They said they had lost their first five games or something.
