Rockets rookie Eddie Griffin was named to the NBA All-Rookie second team on Monday, despite not even being invited to the Rookie Game for the All Star festivities in his hometown of Philly. EG received 2 first place votes and 21 points overall in the voting, but it would have taken 45 to make the first squad. The first team includes Pau Gasol, Shane Battier, Tony Parker, Andrei Kirilenko and Jason Richardson. Alongside Griffin was Jamaal Tinsley, Richard Jefferson, Zeljko Rebraca, Vladimir Radmanovic and Joe Johnson.
