Hakeem Olajuwon scores 33 points vs. Jazz - Game 5 1997 West Finals

By KarlMalowned32
Hakeem Olajuwon had 33 points, 10 rebounds and a block in 43 minutes, but the Rockets fell to the Utah Jazz 96-91 in Game 5 of the 1997 Western Conference Finals on 5/27/1997, falling behind 3-2 in the series. Hakeem scored 18 points in the first half and 13 points in the 4th quarter. He was in Championship Form here as he schooled Greg Ostertag, however his teammates never got going and it became a one man show in the final period. Both Clyde Drexler and Charles Barkley struggled.

Hakeem's frustrations boiled over as he picked up a technical foul late in the game when things started to slip away.
