For a couple of months, diehard fans of the Houston Rockets — and let’s face it, diehards are the only ones left — have been greatly anticipating the March trade deadline.

It was a massive disappointment.

Taking it all the way to the wire, the Rockets unloaded Victor Oladipo to the Miami Heat, getting back Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk and the right to swap first-round picks in 2022. For a team that talked up their ability to get BOTH a young player and a pick, it was completely underwhelming. They showed their hand that they were moving Oladipo regardless.

David Weiner (Twitter | ClutchFans) joins Dave Hardisty on the podcast to sort through the rubble — trading Oladipo and how it reflects on the Harden trade. Also discussed are some silver linings, like the clear runway for Kevin Porter Jr., the PJ Tucker trade and the play of Jae’Sean Tate.
