Yao Ming eyeing December 7th return vs. McGrady, Pistons

The Rockets have had some key injuries this season — none more important than the one Yao Ming suffered against the Washington Wizards on November 10th.

But some light at the end of the tunnel: Yao went through shootaround today for the first time since the injury and is working towards a return on December 7th for the home game against former teammate Tracy McGrady and the Detroit Pistons.

“I did a full shootaround with the team,” said Yao, who will be cleared tomorrow for contact drills. “Every step is a move ahead.”
