Could that possibly have been the Rockets' offense?
After a humiliating defeat against the Mavericks on Wednesday, the Rockets clearly did some soul searching, responding with their best offensive showing of the season in routing the Timberwolves 121-101 Friday night in Houston.
There were stars all around for Houston.
Steve Francis was insane from the floor, hitting 12-15 shots for 27 points to go with 8 assists, Yao Ming was huge with 24 points, 13 boards and 3 blocks and Cuttino Mobley scored 22 and 6 dimes. Both Maurice Taylor (18 points) and James Posey played big roles as well as the Rockets stunningly shot over 58% for the game to improve their season record to 25-20.
