The Rockets were down 14 points with 2 and a half minutes to go, yet somehow worked it so Cuttino Mobley had the ball in his hands shooting a three-pointer with 15 seconds left that would have brought the Rockets to within one.
But when the shot was badly off, the opportunity was lost and the Rockets 5-game winning streak ended with a 100-94 loss in Seattle.
The Rockets offense faltered badly in the fourth where Mo Taylor and Mobley couldn't hit much ... but when Glen Rice came back in the final 2:30, he nailed two triples and a couple of free throws to get the Rockets going in a hurry.
Rashard Lewis (25 points) and Ray Allen though were too much... oh and Rockets defense, please note: Kevin Ollie is the one wearing a Sonics uniform wide open underneath the basket on every play.
