Yao Ming wasn't having the best of games.
So perhaps that explains the frustration, and why Yao picked up his first technical foul with just over a minute left in the third quarter in Atlanta against the Hawks.
Yao, who was just 2-10 from the floor at this point in the game and was being flustered by the physical play of Theo Ratliff, got great position in the post, got the feed and backed in Shaq-style on Ratliff.
With Ratliff going full bore for the block, Yao turned and threw down a two-handed hammer jam on the Hawks' shot-blocking specialist. He then proceeded to let out a roar right in Ratliff's mug.
The ref immediately T'ed up Yao, but the Rockets entire bench and team was fired up, and Yao received rounds of high-fives. No doubt the Rockets want to see more of this fire from Yao.
