Hakeem Olajuwon goes for 37 points and 13 boards, holding Patrick Ewing to 12 points on 4-20 shooting, as the Houston Rockets beat the New York Knicks 94-85 on 12/2/1993, winning their 15th straight game to start the season to tie the NBA All-Time record set by the Washington Capitals, who also started 15-0.
Olajuwon scored 16 points (to Ewing's 0) in the pivotal third quarter when the Rockets blew it open. The Dream repeatedly used turnaround jumpers on the baseline to beat the Knicks' star center.
Carl Herrera added 13 points and 15 boards off the bench. Vernon Maxwell added 17 points and 6 assists. Scott Brooks added 7 points, Kenny Smith 8 and Otis Thorpe 6 points and 6 boards.
